IP exempted from NEET : IPUCET Notification 2013

While many of us had barely understood NEET and its pattern,Most of us had accepted NEET as a reality(since Thats what the entire HRD-Ministry has been harping about since ages) Its been months since we started worshipping our NCERTs and purchasing NEET based books and question banks. If the residual confusion in our little guinea pig minds wasnt enough,The IP university came up with a whole new idea to help us develop suicidal tendencies.The upper right corner of page seven of the Times of India normally goes unnoticed,But not today. It awaited a huge surprise(Or rather a shock) For all the Medical aspirants across the Nation.IP university would be conducting its own entrance for admissions to MBBS for the session 2013-2014.


Application Form and its Submission

The IPUCET 2013 Application Form along with the information brochure can be obtained from the Indian bank Branches listed in the exam notification on all the working days from the third week of January 2013 for Rs.1000/-.

This fee for IPUCET 2013 Application Form is non – refundable.

The IPUCET 2013 Application Form can also be obtained by post. The candidates have to send a request for form to the office of Joint Registrar (Academic), Administrative Block, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Sector – 16C, Dwarka, New Delhi – 110075.

The completely filled application form is to be mailed to the following address by the third week of April, 2013:

Controller of Examinations,

Sector – 16 C,

Dwarka,

New Delhi – 110075.

Eligibility Criteria

For MBBS:- The Candidates should pass the 12th standard under the 10+2 scheme/ Senior School Certificate Examination with at least 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (40% marks for SC/ST candidates).

IPUCET 2013 Pattern

The IPU CET test paper will contain 150 objective-type questions in all.

Each question shall carry four marks

The GGSIPU Test will be of two and a half hours duration and will carry 600 marks

The medium of the tests will be English only.

IPU CET 2013 Date (Tentative):- MBBS stage I : 11th May 2013(2:00-5:00 pm)
MBBS stage II: 8th June 2013(2:00-5:00 pm)

      for phy nd chem……. solve previous 10 year question……… study ncert 4 theory type questions…..
      remain confident…….
      study @8-10 hrs a day…..

      if u r interested fill both the forms …date may change.
      if it dnt change then u wil give exam a/c to ur preference.
      if it changes u wil be able to give both.

      As Per The IPUCET eligibility norms:

      1)The candidate should not be older than 21 years by the month of October 2013.

      2)The upper age limit may be relaxed up to 5 years in very exceptional cases only if the merit of the candidate satisfies the Admission Officer.
