It’s computer based 30-minutes English Language and Reasoning test.They test basic knowledge about english comprehension, word-meanings,synonyms,antonyms,idioms etc…. reasoning based on series & sequences,numerical ability,ranking test,analogy, coding-decoding,some analytical reasoning& gk.Questions are simple..wht determines scores is one’s speed along wid accuracy in answering.

I appeared for neet and have 10966 AIR 6773 general category rank 520 punjab state rank with 445 marks.I am really not satisfied with my result and expected more marks.I did not receive neet counselling letter for all india quota which is sent upto 10281 rank.I want to do MBBS from a good college and have thought of joining allen kota and dropping a year.But it is too tough to decide what to do.My dad has asked me to weight as I might be called for second counselling of all india quota but I don’t think so there are any good chances for me this year.
I need your advice sir.

I knw it’s a tough one to make. If u knw wht hindrances have happened this time and also believe dat u can tackle them all,then only,go for an year of investment(and not silly “drop”).

Sir,, It’s not advisable to waste a whole year on not being able to get into MAMC and AIIMS. The competition is so tough that there is no guarantee that she would make it to MAMC next year..And LH, UCMS and VMMC are very good colleges. And Dropping for a year is frustrating and tiring job as well. It’s better if she starts preparing for AIIMS PG or USMLE after getting into a medical college than waste a year preparing for medical entrances.

Aiims result is likely to come on 1st july(may be one/two day late)…All coachings are equally good..join anyone avlbl near ur location..Afterall it’s ur own self study dat’s gonna decide ur selection.

sir, i finished my class 12 in 2012 and prepared for a year for neet 2013 . however my rank is around 40,000, (state rank 4500) and iam aware that this rank will not help me. also, in my state, students ususally dont take long term. they either pay donation and join local colleges or take some other field. now, this was my second attempt and now im also being advised to pay and join any college. But, i really want to study in a gov college (aiims/jipmer/ bhu ), and prepare for another year, this time with more hard work and from a good coaching institute. so do you suggest me to take risk and join the droppers course at ‘allen, kota’ ??
