Sir, I am in class 12th now. I want to very badly get into jipmer this year. And I just have about 2 months after my 12th boards. And my preparations for it is kinda NIL. Biology and chemistry are my pro subjects. I can solve whatever type of questions mostly. But my physics is very poor. I have zero application skill. Can you please tell me whether I will be able to crack the exam? And how should my preparations be from now on?
JIPMER although is a National Wide exam, but is a very easy exam. Its questions are very simple in all the three streams.
The toughest part is the English Section, it is really hard to score well in it and it becomes the main criteria for getting a good rank.
My Score was: Botany-37, Zoology-38, Chemistry-34, Physics-31 and english-13. Total score was 153/200. But couldn’t qualify as the GM cut off was above 160.
For Biology- study fingertips, 90% questions will co-incide.
For Chem- Study inorganic part well.
For physics- literally cram all the formulas. Trust me the questions were directly formula based.
The overall question paper didn’t contain many numericals, in both phy & chem, and most of the questions were direct.
You still have ample of time after your boards, so work systematically and work hard.
Good Luck 🙂
