NEET PG Counselling 2026 Round 1: Dates, Choice Filling, Result and Closing Ranks

Round 1 is the first and biggest round. Most top government colleges fill here, so a carefully ordered choice list matters most in this round.

What happens in Round 1

  1. Register and pay the fee and security deposit.
  2. Fill and lock your choices before the deadline.
  3. Check the seat allotment result.
  4. Report to the allotted college with documents, or follow the bulletin's rules if you want to try for an upgrade in Round 2.

Rules on upgrades, free exit and forfeiture of the security deposit are different in each round and can change every year. Read MCC's 2026 information bulletin before you register, fill choices or join.

NEET PG Round 1 closing rank 2025: branch-wise and category-wise

The last All India Rank allotted a government MD/MS seat (All India Quota) in each branch and seat category in Round 1 of 2025, from MCC's final allotment results. The last column shows the General closing rank in Round 1 of 2024. A dash means no seat in that category was allotted in this round.

Can I change my choices after locking in Round 1?

No. Once choices are locked for a round, they cannot be changed for that round.
